What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, transmit, sell or share any personal data about you. We do not know who you are, whether you have installed the app, or whether you have ever opened it.
What the app stores on your device
The game keeps a small amount of information on your iPhone so that it behaves sensibly between sessions. None of it leaves the device, and none of it is visible to us:
- the player names you type in Competition Mode, and the recent line-ups they formed
- your Hall of Fame — games played, wins, best and average scores per name
- your last set-up: chosen categories, round length and number of rounds
- your preferences: menu language, word language, sound and vibration
This is stored using the standard iOS preferences mechanism inside the app's own sandbox. Deleting GoGoFlip deletes all of it. You can also clear parts of it from inside the app — the Hall of Fame has a Clear Records button, and remembered names can be removed individually.
Motion sensors
The game reads your iPhone's motion sensors while a round is being played. This is how tilting the phone down or up registers as Correct or Pass — it is the entire mechanic.
Those readings are used moment to moment and then discarded. They are never recorded, never stored and never transmitted. The app stops reading them the instant a round ends or is paused.
Purchases
GoGoFlip Full is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see, receive or store your card details, your Apple Account, your name or your address.
The app asks Apple a single question — whether this Apple Account owns the purchase — and Apple answers yes or no. Apple's own handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
There are none. GoGoFlip contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting services, no attribution or marketing tools, no social media integrations, and no third-party code libraries whatsoever. Nothing about you is used for tracking, and no data is shared with anyone, because none is gathered in the first place.
Internet access
GoGoFlip works fully offline. Every word, definition and image ships inside the app itself, so nothing is downloaded while you play. The one exception is Apple's own purchase and restore flow, which requires a connection and is operated by Apple rather than by us.
Children
GoGoFlip is a family party game and is suitable for children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either, and there is nothing for a parent to request, correct or delete beyond deleting the app.
Your rights
Data protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to return or erase. The information described above lives on your own device and is entirely under your control.
Changes to this policy
If GoGoFlip ever changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if we added an online feature — we will update this page and change the date at the top before that version ships. We will not start collecting data under a policy that says we do not.
